Meet Nicole

Aloha! I’m Nicole, founder of Maui Social Media and your right-hand-girl for capturing the biggest BTS moments on your wedding day.

With over a decade of experience in the Maui wedding industry, I know exactly what it takes to provide the best experience possible for our Maui wedding couples. I have worked as a Maui Wedding Planner, Wedding Designer, and Content Creator here on the island for years, and I’m still so excited to help capture the magic that happens behind-the-scenes at every wedding.

My business started by creating content for Maui Wedding Planners & vendors on the island back in 2021, focusing on production, design and all of the BTS moments as they unfolded naturally on the wedding day. I would create high-quality Reels, and after the planner posted on their socials, we quickly realized that brides were eager for this type of content as well.

I LOVE everything about weddings - the memories made, the hard work that goes into them, and of course, watching everything unfold.

With some of the best planners & vendors, in one of the most beautiful islands in the world, there’s no shortage of truly amazing moments that happen at each event that are just begging to be relived over and over again!

Maxyne is our go-to girl for all things photography & weddings! 

With a long-standing career in special events & hospitality, she swapped the Minnesota cold for the tropical island of Maui to specialize in weddings & bespoke events.

Maxyne has experience working with top wedding photographers & coordinators on the island, and brings an eye for detail and unique vision to each shot. She’s become sought-after in the vibrant wedding industry on Maui, and can’t wait to capture your special day!

Meet Dani

Aloha! My name is Dani, and I moved to Maui two years ago from Beverly Hills, California. I’m a 5th-grade teacher at an elementary school in Kihei and also teach yoga at a local studio.

When I’m not in the classroom or on the mat, you can find me filming content for myself and friends as we explore the island—capturing the beauty of Maui and creating memories along the way.

Creating content truly brings me joy, and I can’t wait to help you capture your special day with the same passion and creativity I put into all of my projects.

FAQ’S

  • We shoot on an iPhone 15 and 16 Pro Max dedicated to content work only, not our personal phones. We also carry a backup phone to every wedding.

  • We love all types of celebrations and events! If you want it captured, we’ve got you covered.

    Please ask about pre-wedding or pre-celebration events as well, such as rehearsal dinners & welcome parties - if it’s happening, we’d love to be there!

  • I shoot on iPhone 15 Pro Max in 4K. We capture those raw, real moments to easily translate into viral-worthy reels.

  • Absolutely!

    We work in tandem with your photography and videography team to capture BTS moments on iPhone. Our service is meant to hold you over with fun content to share on social media while you wait 4-8 weeks for your professional photo and video to be delivered. Our BTS content is not meant to replace professional photo photo/video services.

  • The sooner the better! Maui is a popular wedding destination all year-round so we encourage booking as soon as possible as we tend to book out months in advance.

  • We love to cover weddings on any Hawaiian island! Don’t hesitate to reach out if you’re planning an event on one of our beautiful neighboring islands.

  • Your edited BTS content (Reels) will be delivered within 24-hours of your wedding day via Dropbox. All of the raw, unedited videos of your day will be delivered within 24-48 hours as the uploading time will vary based on the hours of content from your event.

  • Just fill out our inquiry form detailing your event date, location and package that you’re interested in. We’ll then schedule a call to discuss the details including timeline, content and answer any questions. We require a signed contract + 50% deposit in order to confirm your date on our calendar.
